Ken Lovern is a composer and jazz organist from the Kansas City area.
Ken's most recent composition project is Blind Boone the Musical. Ken has composed music, lyrics, and story to create an historical musical fantasy about the life of Missouri’s’ ragtime pioneer, John William “Blind” Boone. Singles for Blind Boone will be released over Summer 2026 and the full release including vinyl and CDs with a companion graphic novel will drop on September 2, 2026.
For over 13 years has played jazz organ with his group OJT at Green Lady Lounge four or five nights a week. A tragic fire at Green Lady Lounge on Sunday, May 31, 2026 has ended this epic run for the time being.
